Create a database which contains information about your contacts: name, DOB, email, mailing address, multiple phone numbers, and notes.
ContactKeeper is a handy and lightweight software tool that allows you to record the information of all those who are important to you. This information includes their name, date of birth, mailing address/es, phone number/s, e-mail address/es, and various notes. The program allows you to keep an unlimited quantity of phone numbers and e-mail addresses for each person on your contact list.
Though ContactKeeper's user interface is not very thorough or particularly attractive, it is very intuitive and easy to use, so that even novice users can take advantage of all of the program's features. ContactKeeper stores your contacts' information in MS Access databases, and thus it requires that you have MDAC (Microsoft Data Access Components) and the Microsoft Jet 4.0 database engine correctly installed in your system for the program to work properly. By default, the program creates a "ContactKeeper.mdb" database to store and retrieve your information, though you can also create and work with your own databases.
Its birthday calendar is surely one of the most helpful features in ContactKeeper. It takes the information stored in the "date of birth" field in each of your contacts and allows you to set reminders for every upcoming birthday, so that you will never forget them again. Moreover, the program allows you to perform an advanced contact search based on his/her name, date of birth, mailing addresses, phone numbers, e-mail addresses, and/or notes. Of course, this feature becomes particularly useful once you have accumulated a large number of contacts. Finally, ContactKeeper also allows you to export the information of one or more of your contacts into (X)HTML, TXT, and CSV files very easily.
In short, ContactKeeper is a lightweight yet comprehensive tool that allows you to store the contact information of all your relatives and friends in a very easy and intuitive way and be reminded of their birthday.
